Haha Windows continues to follow the good version/bad version flip flop since back in the Millenium days.
98 = good
Windows Me = bad
Windows XP = good
Windows vista = bad
Windows 7 = good
Windows 8/8.1 = bad (granted 8.1 fixed everything wrong about 8...but its still 8...it was still primarily made for touch UI)
Windows 10 = good
Windows 11 = bad
On an different note, i have set myself up for the endgame of my B450 AM4 platform. Just awaiting a reasonable enough price for the Ryzen 7 5800x3D to make the plunge. In the meantime i have upgraded myself to 48GB of DDR4 RAM (i had 16GB of DDR4 2666mhz RAM, which apparently maxes out overclocked to just below 3000mhz if im lucky. I got a 32gb set of DDR4 3200mhz for use with the X3D. So right now im using 48GB @ 2666mhz and will drop it to 32gb @ 3200mhz when i change CPU's. Also picked up a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 CPU cooler for it too (dont need it right now but the x3D doesnt come with a cooler and i don't believe the Wraith Spire that i currently use with my Ryzen5 2600X is enough to cool an 5800x3D.
