Drove around a little bit tonight with my brother-in-law and youngest daughter. I took it easy but I had to show off. They've seen my laborious efforts throughout the last weeks, and especially today with TBBandit. They were both really impressed with the quality of my design as well as installation on both cars. They were most impressed with the deep growl and bad ass sound the car made under load (in high gear, it's barely noticeable). They also could tell the car revved and accelerated much faster compared to another trip last weekend we took. We were all giggling because we kept chirping the rear tires. I did not drive it hard (like TBBandit and I normally do). BUt rather, I semi-grannied it. Anyhow, this mod brought back the excitement to when I bought this car.
I am very pleased and I can't see how we could have done it better. It exceeded my expectations and we are using the factory cold air with definitely NO CEL lights coming on.
Our next move is to dyno the system when possible and affordable. We can both tell you that there definitely is increased HP that we achieved. Don't know how much, but the assometer could definitely feel it. And the sound is to die for (not literally of course, but I did bleed today)
