because it is.

the first image shows tons of screens all over the interior. not buttons as 'intuitive controls' would indicate to me.

as far as the 'immersive' part:

Immersive:
providing, involving, or characterized by deep absorption or immersion in something (such as an activity or a real or artificial environment)

by that definition, as long as the steering wheel steers, the windows remain transparent, and the gas and brake pedals work as they're intended, it would be an immersive driving experience. just the same as a 30 year old camry.
