Overblown. There are thousands over 2nd gens driving everyday just fine, including track use. The failure rate is less than 1%, but if you judge based solely on the internet, you'd think this were a Red Ring of Death scenario. If the failures were that prevalent I wouldn't have been watching this guy pump out GR86 track videos left and right for the past year or so.
