Starts fine in gear with clutch depressed. Especially with the AC on, it will randomly stall while sitting at a red light when in first gear. I just flushed clutch cylinders with DOT 3 and checked pedal free play. Removed the dust cover on left side of tranny and tried to get a mirror and flashlight worked around to inspect the ball perch for cracking but could not get a good angle on my bi-focals

Now that you mention heat, does this only happen when it is hot? I had something similar just not as bad as you have described. It would show it self in traffic and especially coming off the track in the summer. I switched to 75W140 never have had an issue since.
