Sorry to revive a somewhat dead thread.
I also had a honk, in addition to a squeak.
Followed Tcoat's advice.
First tried to lube the clutch master cylinder rod (?), but symptoms didn't improve.
I then used a tooth brush to apply the grease further down the clutch fork. Interestingly, on my first go, I pulled out a bunch of dirt/dust, which I can't imagine is good for the parts in there. Squeak went away immediately. Honk went away after driving around for 20-40 min. Thank you Tcoat! I unfortunately don't have enough posts to activate that thank you button (need at least 5 I think).
