I haven't yet figured out why anyone (developer) thinks the heart emoji is appropriate for a workplace, never mind most emojies in general, but I feel your pain.
I also loathe, detest, want to burn down, any "Best Place to Work" or "Employee Engagement Survey" that asks in some form "Do you love your coworkers".
I have a canned response. First I either pick N/A or no score if it blessedly available. if not I pick the worst score. Then in the comments I type some version of this:
"
I do not, nor ever have "loved" my coworkers. That is a completely inappropriate term to use in the workplace. I respect 95% of my coworkers, I like about 80% of my coworkers, and I would have a beer with about 5% of my coworkers outside of work. The bottom line is that if anywhere outside this survey if I walked up to a coworker and said "Hey you know I love you as a coworker", I would probably end up in HR. So, no, I do not love my coworkers"
