This has been happening way too often. This is exactly the reason why I just traded in my GR86 last month.  the resale value on these cars are through the roof right now.  I put 12,000 miles on mine in just under a year and my trade-in value is $2250 less than what I paid for the car and I also got a rebate of $750 from my gap insurance.  I did dumb shit with that stupid car all the time so there’s no way that my black box would’ve worked in my favor if the engine popped.
