This post is old, but somewhat related without starting a new thread.

Has anyone noticed that the car will give a higher, firmer initial brake pedal in certain situations - mostly when you've got something like a short but fast kink before a heavy braking area. It feels similar to MK60E5 ABS anti-knockback pre-pressurization.

This is not to be confused with the high, hard pedal where the car won't slow down that some people refer to as "ice mode", where the ABS is locking you out while it recovers. I can coax the car into that on demand and work around it easily, so it is a non issue. I've never experienced the other form of "ice mode" where the ABS deactivates in this car, but have in other cars.

Car is permanently pedal danced via Beastronix, ABS module is out of a 2020.
