The tune by CSG didn't increase the rev limit. The engine in a stock configuration doesn't really make much more power by increasing revs from what I have read.

After doing a bunch of research I believe this setup is safe and at the limits of a stock motor. What seems to kill these engines are shitty fuel with bad tunes.

People want to slap on a bunch of power with shitty California or foreign equivalent fuel. Or they are trying to push way too much low end torque and grenading their transmissions.

I'm still on my stock clutch for now and I never push the car from a dig. I mostly just drive the car to work and three hour drives to see family. I redline it every time I dive it and bang the gears quite a bit when I run it out on the interstate. I have managed to get it over 140 a few times on sunday mornings when no one else is on the road but it kinda scares the shit out of me because I-45 sucks.
