At this point, the car has been swapped for almost a full year. Today I wrapped up what is effectively the first track season after being swapped for this car - August 2022 to May 2023; we take a break for the summer months out here in Arizona. Actual NASA season runs Jan-Dec like normal, so the season championship is still ongoing.

I ended up driving the car to the track today since I couldn't drop it off the night before, it reminded me pretty much exactly of my old S2000 that I drove to pretty much every single event. Cabin noise is more than tolerable with the Perrin, not much vibration, and the same banging noise as all of my gear goes flying in the trunk when I hit a large dip on the highway.

Car felt bang on balance wise with the bar at Wild Horse Pass East, took the TT5 record by about half a second. Unfortunately, the track is being torn down for freeway widening next month so I won't get another chance at pushing it down further.

Ran the VS5RS in the front and the EC7R in the rear. I think I like how the EC7R looks better on the car, but the 5 is a couple of pounds lighter and still in production.

Soooo... calling the first "season" done:
Ran 21 Total Events
10 NASA TT5 Wins
Set 5 NASA AZ / NASA SoCal TT5 Lap Records
- Chuckwalla CW (NASA AZ / NASA SoCal)
- Chuckwalla CCW (NASA AZ / NASA SoCal)
- Arizona Motorsports Park CCW (NASA AZ)
- Attesa CCW (NASA AZ)
- Wild Horse Pass East (NASA AZ)

The car never broke causing it to fail to finish an event, which is pretty awesome for a fresh build / swap. Things that I broke over the season:
- Three throttle body bolts, one taking a throttle body adapter with it
- 1x OEM 65mm BRZ throttle body
- 1x Bosch 74mm throttle body
- 1x front Timken wheel bearing
- 1x Jack's built BRZ Transmission
- 1x MAP sensor wire
- 1x Wiring harness power wire
- 1x Exhaust gasket
- 1x Experimental Valve Cover Baffle
- 1x Coilover strut bearing
- 1x Coilover strut bearing to spring hat ... thing

All in all, pretty legit. I do think that I cracked the header this event, so I'll be pulling that tomorrow to see what is up.

I bought 600/600 Xidas - those will be going on when they show up, so begins off season refinement -- the focus will mostly be on improving heat shielding / heat management and simplification of the car.
