It has 60,000 miles on it, about 32,000 of which I've put on. Borla header, free-flow front pipe, Phantom electric supercharger, and OFT tune. I don't use the supercharger very much and I try to hold peak RPM to 6000.
It has done it intermittently with both the Massey and OEM oil filter so I don't think oil starvation is a factor. If it was a journal bearing I would think it would do it all the time. Am I right about that? That's the crazy part. It just doesn't do it all the time, and when it does start normally it's quiet as a mouse.
