Most of the drivetrain slop is in the diff and CV's. Put your car on jackstands, lock park brake and rotate the driveshaft by hand and watch the CV's.

I can say I saw no improvement in performance with a vastly lighter aluminum driveshaft and doubt 1.5kg's is really going to matter. One of those end of the line mods to me.
