No sound is because it's an "Optimized Lap" that the Garmin Catalyst does. It's an unaltered video except for the T1 to T2 segment where I could have been faster.
To get the sound I'd have to edit the full version, which I haven't done.
LRP has a 88dB sound limit, so sound isn't too impressive, plus in the full version video I have the Catalyst "girl in the car instructor" talking to me through the car's speakers.  I just got Bluetooth earbuds I'll be using from now on.
The Catalyst is a pretty cool tool if you haven't tried it! I have two regular BRZ track buddies and we can overlay and compare laps with the Garmin Catalyst. |
I’m not sure if this has changed or not but it’s a shame it can’t pull in data from the car via obd2. That is a deal breaker for me when it comes to data analytics
