Dammit -- that sucks.

But good call. I've been in that same spot, rushing to get everything done to make it to an event... everything gets done but not quite how I'd like it to be, then works for a bit, then something turns out to be a bigger issue than I thought, more rushing, more 90% fixes... it's not a fun way to go about it.

You'll be glad later you did it the slow and right way.
