I think that's going to be the answer. For some reason I thought 300tw tires would deal with track use (abuse?) better than this but I guess not.

Interesting, I've only seen water spraying for autox. Wouldn't the tire cool sufficiently in the 1+ hr between sessions? Smoother/less inputs would definitely help. Probably just need to dial things back overall and accept what the car's giving me, or use better tires.
