This was my opinion as well. If you've never used RS2, RS3 was probably easier but coming from RS2 it was confusing. I'm mostly converted to using RS3 now.
While I really appreciate AIM putting out all those instructional videos, each one could be condensed into about 15-30 min of actual useful information.
