I don't understand this. If you're past your mileage, and you know it, why would you not at least check the oil level so it's not low? You did this to yourself.

I have zero sympathy for this guy or anybody else that relies on an oil pressure light to protect their engine.
IT IS CALLED AND IDIOT LIGHT FOR A REASON!
