this is basically what 50% of journalism entails right now, no real investigative effort just repeat whatever the police PR person says or puts into a press release.
pretty sure buzzfeed is already using ai for their stupid fucking listicle articles and that's the perfect use case because any decent journalist wouldnt put their name on a listicle in the first place.
