That is an above average amount of bedding required, but makes sense for this caliber of BBK.

It is not "too late" by any means, you can try the bedding process again at your leisure. However, I agree with your assessment, it'll be tricky to find a place where you can safely do those 80 to ~5 stops.

Also, it's kinda nerve wracking since you're supposed to brake extremely aggressively, just before the point of engaging ABS. Many people aren't comfortable braking that hard and feeling the forces. IMO, and speaking from experience, it can be kinda disconcerting.

Anyway keep us updated if you decide to give the bedding a go or switch up the pads.
