Yep, this is the way for me too. I paid for the warranty - I'm not in a rush to dump it. If things go sideways, at least I know my ass is covered.

I'm going to ride the warranty as long as my sanity will allow me to stay off the track. When I'm ready to track it of course I will probably drop the pan, certainly install a baffle/oil cooler, and maybe even tune it. But for now, this stock car has been nothing but reliablie and thrilling on the street and I still have peace of mind.
