The downside is that when I had my exhaust changed the old one had quite a bit of water in the muffler. Even with me doing WOP pulls on the highway and shitload of vapor coming out behind me making me look like a train it wasn't enough to get rid of all the water. I ended up drilling 2 small holes in the oem muffler to get all the water out before putting it into storage.

my brother's a dodge/chrysler/jeep mechanic. he just had to do the same as you as part of an official TSB on a 10 year old dodge. it got towed into the dealership as a "no-start". the muffler was so plugged up with water, it didn't start! after he drilled the hole and let it drain, it fired right up.
so not entirely weird, but definitely something that should be resolved by the manufacturer.
