I am colour deficient in the red/green spectrum. To be specific I'm a very strong protan. I have know this since I was very young and could not see things that others did. It's not like you see red and I see green. It's that I don't see the difference. This plays hell with me and video games like America's Army because I miss things that others clearly see. Those who do not have this problem or just a minor version can't understand what I go through on a daily basis.
Take one of the on line tests and imagine that most of the circles have no numbers. It's not a case of degrees or interpretation it's simple black and white. In my world some things just do not exist like they do for others.
