By the way, I decided to keep the BRZ (and the Camry - for now). The BRZ was hit while stopped back in 2017 and, as a result, isn't worth much on trade in.
General Spaulding and I discussed it and concluded that 1) we live in deep South Stumblefuck, 3 days drive from the beginning of most interesting stuff therefore 2) buying a $48k OBW would simple buy us the pleasure of droning for 1200 miles on the interstate to get to our starting point, we will therefore 3) keep our current stable and fly to wherever we want to start, rent a ride and go see stuff. If/when we need to replace the Camry it'll probably be an EV.
To the OP - if you want what the car is and like what it does it's the perfect car regardless of your age. That's one of the beauties of aging - it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks - your field of fucks is overgrown with weeds and you don't have any left to give.
