I really don't see this as being practical in a car for reasons you already stated. Vibration is going to be a key one. Maybe circle track guys could tolerate it, or builds that vibration isn't going to matter. I could see rock crawlers being all over this thing, I would have loved to have this as an option over the OM617 I went with in my Toyota. I think the 300/500 numbers they are talking is just without having to upgrade internals.
