As it's custom made, it's mistake of either customer not voicing wish of specific length, or maker messing up a bit during design phase, or due reusing ready components (those tips look as welded part of mufflers?) + clearance limits.
At end it's all fine if you, as owner, are happy with result. Some extra costs and some extra time needed to reach it .. well, things happen  |
It’s a little less complicated than that. Local shop had all mufflers imported with tips burn, so I had nothing to choose from. Selection of shops doing custom exhaust setups is very, very limited where I live. So there you have it.
