Length wise after cut they look better.
But IIRC that Ti burnt finish probably costs extra, so that money went down the drain.
As it's custom made, it's mistake of either customer not voicing wish of specific length, or maker messing up a bit during design phase, or due reusing ready components (those tips look as welded part of mufflers?) + clearance limits.
At end it's all fine if you, as owner, are happy with result. Some extra costs and some extra time needed to reach it .. well, things happen
