I'm on an ancient AB350 motherboard and it handled a 5600X upgrade very well. The Ryzen 5600X is very good. I've actually been doing workstation (compiling, production) stuff with it and can't believe how I ever got by on the original Ryzen 1600. Games run at a nice 100+ fps now.




One thing that took me back was the Ryzen 5600X shipped with an OEM "Stealth" Cooler that was half the size of my original Ryzen 1600 heatsink. Turns out the 5600X is quite thermal efficient.
