One major reason I'm picking Gen 2 over a Gen 1 is, locally I cannot find a Gen 1 that hasn't been "upgraded" with distasteful mods, or has 74k miles and asking $28k. I like the Gen 2 styling, and the Neptune Blue is a fun color. If there was a reasonably priced Gen 1 with no mods, then I'd pick Gen 1... but given the used car market is still broken, Gen 2 is still my choice.
