i'd love to get a gen 2 for the bigger motor, increased chassis stiffness, and stiffened transmission.

i'm keeping my gen 1 because i don't want digital gauges, the slacker steering ratio, or more creature comforts.

the reality is that eventually i'll likely be able to get the bigger motor into a gen 1, the trans has already been verified to plug-n-play, the only thing i'd really be short then would be the chassis stiffness--aftermarket bracing isn't going to entirely make up for an oem-designed/built stiffer setup.

so for me, there's absolutely no reason to upgrade to the gen 2, even if all the costs were zeroed out.
