That boot thing happened to me with the Harrop/Ace A350/E85/FA20, I'll watch the new one I just put on.
Car is all back together, trans feels like butter, clutch feels super smooth and easy to drive. We will see if it holds up, put like 5 miles on it then right on the trailer for Chuckwalla on Sat/Sun this weekend.
Transmission mated to the motor right away first attempt, no idea how I got so lucky. I learned that the slave should be installed/removed with the motor / trans bolted down, rather than trying when it is tilted for removal.
