Toyota and Subaru have been pretty clear that they will cover warranty only for their sanctioned events NOT general track/race use. If anybody thinks they bought a race car with a warranty they are going to be in for a shock when they try to make a claim and the data shows usage beyond the design specs.
The days of being able to push a car to it's design limits and if something breaks just going in and saying "I don't know it just broke" are long gone. As we have seen several times the tech now allows the dealer the know exactly how the car was driven right up to the point of failure.
Something like your baffle and pickup are a great way to mitigate some of the risk of tracking the car. When the big picture comes into play it is likely a better way to go when you know you will be pushing the limits than trying to rely on warranty to cover any failures.
The whole thing is a classic case of you can't have your cake and eat it too!
