A lot of good information here, so thank you!
94k miles, bought car 60k certified pre owned.
Last winter my 2014 BRZ started making a whirling sound when I pressed the clutch but only during cold starts. It goes away after a few minutes of driving. No other symptoms. Once the weather got warmer the whirling sound was completely gone on cold starts.
Fast forward to last week when temps dropped to the 50s and the whirling sound is back again during cold starts when pressing clutch and it disappears after a few minutes. Cannot hear anything from the outside of the car and the car drives perfect.
I’ve decided to change the clutch (oem),tob(revised),pivot ball, flywheel.
My dilemma is the clutch fork. Do not feel like spending $200 on an upgraded fork when I’m using oem clutch.
Also, are there any clutch kits that come with the revised tob?
