This is the part that gets me, nothing I read about the CPU Fan error mentioned to check the CMOS battery. Not the motherboard manual, not the ASUS web-site or any of the on-line FAQ's/forums, nada, zip, zero, zilch! It was the date/time not keeping that clued me in.
