Fun two days at Club Motorsports with BMW clubs.
Had two fun days with Boston and White Mountain chapters of BMW CCA. This was their "Fall Foliage" event at CMS that I try to go to each year. I've now done six days at CMS in the BRZ.
Did a personal best by breaking into 1:48's. The Eagle F1 Supercar 3R tires seem to fall off a bit after a half-dozen laps, especially on the second day. This after about 15 heat cycles and about 65% worn out. Wear is pretty even.
I typically ran 32-33 PSI.
Dan, with a silver 2019 BRZ was there, but not in my run group. Matt, with the old EFI Logics racer was there, but in the instructor's group.
Played with my buddy Steve and Simon Cooper, the Boston chapter president. I had him in my passenger seat for one session. Learned some things from him and then he and I went out and swapped leads in a racey fashion for over ten minutes, which was door to door exciting at times. I think I'm getting comfortable with the rear wheel drive and pushing it to it's limits.
Video to come.
