I have the same problem here in Australia, and sadly there is no Subaru TSB or Toyota TSB in this country for both 86/BRZ. And I am pretty sure it’s not related to battery since I have random extended crank when battery is new. Tried method people talked about which I should BUILD FUEL PRESSURE before startup the engine. But problem still there. Went to one of the biggest Toyota dealer in Adelaide, let them check the ECU for me but they said no issues at all. This extended crank is not about 10s startup time, it just sometimes you can feel the shaking in your engine starts, which it’s abnormal. And besides these, the winter temperature in this country is not too low, normally 7-8°C. So I’m confused.
