do we normally get access to filter flow/filtration rates, oem or aftermarket?
whether it's the cause or not, it really doesn't matter, as even the indication of a non-approved oil filter plugging stuff up would be enough for most places to deny coverage.
the 0-30w oil definitely only furthers this point...
