I say legal because the first consult usually is free. If they say no hope then no point proceeding. If they say gonna cost as much as the repair to fight no point proceeding. If they say small cost to send a letter that may be enough then may be worthwhile.
Any way you look at it getting advice some somebody qualified beets hell out of a bunch of guys on the internet gathering their torches and pitchforks.
Personally even with the poor wording I don’t think this case has a hope in hell of being won. The wrong filter alone gives them a legal leg to stand on.
