Also it's still early, most cars are just mildly street driven, still "low" mileage, and as more cars are tracked we'll see how these motors hold up. I'm also comparing my interest in this to when I was purchasing my 2007 Si in 2006, and following the forums closely then. Anecdotally, I did not observe many issues with the k20, transmissions grinding yes, but at the same time the Si's production numbers were significantly higher. The few that blew up, it was almost always over revs, because honda owners.
