Car saw 32 days with 14k total miles before engine failed. If I was at fault, I will own up to it. But wow...this is my 3rd 86 and have hundreds of days on previous 2 cars.
Sorry to hear. Spun bearing? Oil and Filter is BS excuse, though I have noticed a common trend with with failed engines, overrev. I am assuming in your case, it would have been a downshift as the limiter would have prevented it on accel. Any idea how the other bearings and pick up looked like? What was the oil change frequency/interval?
