Needless to say,I'm not going to Toyota for that service. I called a couple of Subie tuner shops near me. One quoted $598,and the other quoted $265. I'm not so hard up for money that I'd rather have busted knuckles and a few hours of aggravation rather than just paying $265 for someone else to do it.

There are several videos out there. It doesn't take any special tools just special patience. I prefer jacking one side of the engine up. It adds 2-3 extra steps, but it reduces the number of swear words required for the job.
