It's definitely something i would consider doing on my next oil change, though it will likely not be until next year as the car is going to be stored soon anyways, OR i will end up doing nothing because i am too lazy. For me, this is more like a brain flexing exercise. lol Truth is that I am hoping that OE will announce something by then, if they were to announce anything.

Having said that, I don't see an issue with doing this as i can't see why it will jeopardized the warranty. If it wasn't for keeping my warranty intact, i would have dropped my pan already.
