this doesnt automatically mean RTV was the reason for a spun bearing. it's being pointed to the first thing they see.
id wanna see how the rest of the bearings looked. if this RTV blockage at the oil pickup is the reason for the spun bearing, there should be signs of damage to the other bearings as well. if the other bearings are fine and only one bearing had a failure, then you cant blame the RTV for that, as the RTV in the pickup is affecting the entire system, not one bearing
