Here's an idea:
Why not a paper-type gasket coated with pre-cured high-temp RTV a few thousandths of an inch thick?
It would be the perfect amount of sealant needed, and would seal the two halves with no chance of squeeze out. These gaskets could be used on every mating surface to replace the existing sealant.
That would fix this issue permanently.
Oh, and Mr. Lehto followed up his video from the other day.
