I have found that due to a combination of the torque dip, and the break-in period, (no we don't need to discuss how the engine break-in is wrong here) I drive this car at a much more leisurely pace.
When the car looks this good I don't mind giving people a chance to gawk at my car as I drive beside them.
In regards to OPs post, I do find the torque dip to be rather harsh, but as already mentioned I have started to learn how to drive this car in two separate "modes". Below 4k for around the town, and keeping it above 4500 for all freeway on-ramps and and quick zipping around.
While the dip is very noticeable, I do not think that it is so bad that the car should have not been released / is unacceptable.
