Really? This was the first time busting the studs. Other 2 I busted was pretty much same.

Nope! It was tighten in the spec. Very long story short, I got the defect ARP studs & somehow it was working w Kics nuts & I’ve used it for few years… later on I’ve replaced it w Muteki nuts due to Kics’ lug nut washers wearing out. Few months later it seized up. Tow my car to the shop & replaced all of em.
