don't look at new bike prices. i bought a mountain bike magazine a while back because i'd like to get a full suspension bike, wanted to use it to get re-acclimated to the market.
there isn't a bike anymore from any name brand that comes in under $1,000. add full suspension, and the cheap models start around $2,000. road bikes are just as bonkers.
it's no wonder less people ride anymore, it's become more of a rich mans sport
