Probably because they’re too expensive there, and Caymans are a bargain in comparison. It’s crazy to me, as an Australian, that in the UK you could buy a new Cayman for maybe £15K (AU$26K) more than a Twin. Here in Australia, a base Cayman is about AU$75K (£43K) more than a Twin.

For this reason, you see less Caymans on the roads or at track days downunder, and tons of Twins absolutely everywhere. Seems to be the opposite in the UK, and price would be the main reason. Aussies get absolutely ripped off on P-cars here. It’s a shame, I’d love to own a Cayman, but even second hand they are absurdly expensive here.
