So good. A generation-agnostic handheld feels genuinely mind blowing. I can play 90s games, new games, PC games, game boy games, PS2 games. I haven’t found a game in my library that won’t run. And if I find one (or want to save the battery) I can stream them from my local gaming pc.
Funny thing about running windows games on Linux through proton/wine. Some games actually run significantly better. NFS Carbon is a good example. No matter how powerful your windows PC is, that game will stutter even at a locked high frame rate. It’s a weird bug in that game that I’ve seen on PS3/X360 too. On the Deck it isn’t perfect, but it’s much better to the point that it doesn’t annoy me anymore.

I do not follow gaming tech and had never heard of this before this very minute!
