I ran into this before too so I know the headache. There are some sandwich plates that have ports in 1/8 npt so you don't need an adaptor. I have been running a BPST to NPT adaptor for a long time with no issues though. Just be careful as sometimes the pressure senders have a long probe and it isn't compatible with an adaptor. Or maybe that was the temp sensor, I don't remember
